Viral is a public health podcast for both public health nerds and the general public started by Linsey Grove and Quinn Lundquist and hosted by Linsey and Megan Albertson. Public health consists of too many topics and professionals to name–but we’re going to try to cover it all. From baby bottle tooth decay to social justice, we will discuss the historical context, cultural relevance, and current connections to each topic while interviewing our colleagues in the field. Welcome to Viral.

Wednesday Jul 19, 2017
Wednesday Jul 19, 2017
Would you like some crumpets with your tea and cancer epidemiology? We were invited to discuss current research in cancer epidemiology with leading faculty at the Moffitt Cancer Center here in Tampa Bay. We also talk about the history of cancer and how we knew about the dangers of tobacco and smoking way before the 1950s.
Also, a shoutout to the Health Impact Partners new resource tool for Health Departments: http://healthequityguide.org/
Special thanks to the wonderful epidemiologyb team at Moffitt:
Peter Kanetsky, PhD, MPH
Anna R. Giuliano, PhD
Jong Y. Park, PhD
Christine M. Pierce, PhD, MPH
Stephanie L. Schmidt, PhD, MPH
