We also talk about the history of cancer and how we knew about the dangers of tobacco and smoking way before the 1950s.

Can't we all just come to a consensus? Well, most scientists have on the subject of climate change. In this episode, we talk briefly about climate change and discuss how it impacts public health. We interview Linda Rudolph, MD, MPH, the Director of the Center for Climate Change and Health at the Public Health Institute. Dr. Rudolph discusses how we can harness the power of public health efforts to impact climate change and explains "health in all policies." We also talk with Dayna Lazarus, a community organizer with Organize Florida. Dayna is a passionate climate change and social justice advocate here in the Tampa Bay area. We discuss what community organizing is and why it is important to moving policy forward in addressing issues like climate change.

Linsey discusses her work as an HIV case manager and we interview to local health professionals with experience in the HIV/AIDS field. Our guests include Naomi Ardjomandkermani, MPH, a local public health professional working as the Ryan White Planning Manager as well as a Diversity and Inclusion consultant and Candace Dornstauder, RN, a former HIV Nurse Case Manager and Medical and Education Services Supervisor for the AIDS Service Association of Pinellas.
